My road to being fit

The day I decided I was going to do it once and for all.. That's how it all began.
It just happened one day after years of saying I was determined to DO IT!
I made up my mind and that was it no turning back, I was going to reach my goal once and for all!!
What I did was this: I looked at the foods I ate that left me feeling unsatisfied or gave me cravings after eating them for myself they were the typical rice sweet potatoes any pasta etc and made choices that I thought would better suit me. For myself once I switched to lower carbs mainly from fruits and veggies is when I got the results I wanted. Those other carbs just made me feel stuffed and yet hungry not long after eating them so for myself a change was needed. The key is trial and error and finding what works best for (you) & your body. Everyone is different we all have different jobs and lifestyles so no 2 people will be able to do the exact same plan. What I did was decide my Protein source and build my meals from there adding a carb like a kiwi and a good fat unless there was enough in the protein source like Bison or salmon. Alot of people think there's no way that would be enough carbs but it works great for me and I'm satisfied with (no) cravings that's right zero! This is what I've been doing since 2007 religiously and I can say I love eating this way!
Being in control of your nutrition is huge and it's something I'm so grateful I learned... But it took me a good 2 years from 2005-2007 to nail out the kinks and find my way ... But I did! You can too. I know it's frustrating but if you keep a journal of what you eat and figure out those foods that ate setting u up for failure it's much easier to get on the right path.
I committed 100% for 6 months to reach my goal and didn't have cheat days but you know what I really didn't want them.. I was so focused on results that was the lady thing on my mind.
I didn't stop until I reached my goal and I did because I was consistent with my nutrition and training and it takes both to see change especially big changes.
So just know if you commit and keep pushing u will get there!!
You got this it's all yours u just have to put in the time.
Don't sit back watching others reach their goals it's time to reach yours! You deserve it!
Don't stress about when it will happen just push to make it happen ;)
I never would have imagined I would be where I am today when I look back it's amazing just how far I have come :) so I'm proof that you too can reach for the stars and eventually grab one ;)
