I have fallen in love with working out but it wasn't always that way for me. It took years for this love to grow into what it is today. I remember years ago saying to my husband "I wish I could get it" I wanted to be able to stick to my fitness and nutrition plan but would always seem to have setbacks. I would do really good and then in my mind I would say..what could it hurt ..then ofcourse your back to square one all over again. This went on for years then i realized I really just wanted more. I wanted to feel good and make some major changes. My parents had been having health problems from years of smoking and it made me really want to get healthy for my family, I didn't want my kids to have to visit me in the hospital and go through what I did.

I changed my thinking all together about food and instead of a diet I was now onto a lifestyle change, that's right LIFE change meaning forever..that's when it all got alot easier. I have enjoyed my food so much more since cleaning up my nutrition. I eat clean 24/7... I live it ..breathe it.. and love it!

I try to make foods like casseroles that will last a few days so you always have meals on hand. I eat a ton of veggies and that's mainly where I get my carbs. The only other carb besides the veggies i eat are fruits like grapefruit, kiwi's,and granny smith apples & strawberries..and I love Flatout multigrain wraps! My main protein sources come from Grassfed beef high in CLA and Bison both which are very lean  my husband and I make 5lbs at a time. I'm not a huge fan of chicken..I love Salmon & Mahi Mahi! My good fats come from walnuts and almonds or almond butter,,if I have the almond butter I only have 1tsp. at a time.

Try to find good foods you like and ones that you will stick to eating. Make the plan a lifelong plan or you will just revert right back to your old ways. Enjoy trying new recipes and experiment, it's tons of fun! You are here on this earth for a purpose...what's your purpose? If you don't get off the couch and get out there and live it you'll never know...make yourself healthy and take care of yourself you deserve it! Make it happen! Today is your day! Go for what you want!!
